The Rules.

What to do:
Compile a list with as close to 100 films (or filmmakers depending on the list) as you can possibly think of that fit the description.

-Have fun, first of all.

-Take it seriously, please.

The listed item must fit the topic.  But there is always room for debate, so for example, if you can give me a clear, legitimate and sound reason why you believe Star Wars is a western, then it can be considered a western.  There are a lot of grey areas.  I just don’t want someone putting Cross Roads under scariest film.

Theatrically released films only. No TV series, made for TV films or Direct-to-Video/Direct-to-DVD.  Theatrical run in at least: USA, Canada, Australia, Japan or anywhere in Europe.

-If you plan to list films you have not seen, make sure you do your research.  Don’t just search the topic in Amazon and write down the first 100 movies that pop-up.

—————-~~—————-

100 films may sound like a lot, but from my own experience once you begin it gets much easier.  Remember too, there are no wrong answers–as long as you take it seriously!

When you have your list finished send it to me…
I will take your list, and all others submitted, and compile the complete list.  Using all submissions as a sort of vote, and the films that are mentioned the most will make it.  In some cases, where necessary some critic’s reviews and/or imdb.com viewer ratings numbers will be used as well.

If you need anything further, just let me know.
